Warwickshire County Council is working on a new Rights of Way Improvement Plan. They want to hear from cyclists who use public rights of way from across the county to make sure the new plan reflects their views.
A Rights of Way Improvement Plan is an important document for the Rights of Way Service. It sets out what needs to be done so that public rights of way meet the needs of users now and in the future. Your views are important to help shape the priorities and actions in the document.
The County Council will be hosting an online workshop for cyclist to canvass their views.
Topics include:
Issues faced by off-road cyclists and MTB riders
Maintenance of public rights of way
Opportunities to improve the network
The role of volunteers
Balancing the needs of different users
Other concerns raised by participants
This is a great opportunity to help shape the future of cycling access and trail development in Warwickshire.
The online workshop is on Monday July 6th, 7pm – 8:30pm. You will need to register through this link: https://WarksMTB.eventbrite.co.uk, or scan the QR code below:
