Event Type

This ride is run by Cycle Infinity CIC as part of Cycling UK’s Community Cycle Club (CCC) initiative
.
The ride is aimed at people who are new to cycling, haven’t ridden for a long time or are a little nervous about cycling.
We are creating a safe space to come and experience the joys of cycling, a chance to make new friends and be more active.
.
All you need is a bike, though we recommend you wear a helmet and dress for the weather. You will be guided by Coach Simon and volunteer Beth.
.
Don’t worry if you haven’t got your own bike. We have a small number of bikes available to lend, but this needs to be arranged beforehand – email hello@cycleinfinity.co.uk
.
On this ‘medium’ ride, we will meet at The Newbold Comyn trails (next to the pub), and we will take you on a little tour of parts of the Comyn, the Grand Union Canal and the Offchurch Greenway.
.
Part of this ride is to show that it is possible to get around parts of the town by using cycle infrastructure alone. We don’t ride on the road at all on this ride. It suitable for all abilities (as long as you can ride unaided and are comfortable riding ‘offroad’).
.
We will be riding for a short distance next to the canal. There is a grass divider in parts ,and the path is mostly quite wide. We will not be riding fast!
.
You will need to register before the ride. You can do this on the day, or in advance by using the QR code below, or by clicking on this link. The club name for the registration form is Cycle Infinity CIC:
