A number of 20 MPH zones have been proposed including a number in Leamington and Warwick.
In London where 20MPH zones have existed for a while the evaluation by TfL shows:
- 25% fall in collisions that resulted in death/serious injury
- 36% fall in collisions involving vulnerable road users
- 63% fall in collisions involving people walking
