Warwickshire County Council’s Active Travel team are holding two events on 6th December. They will be offering Dr Bike checks to make sure your bike is in tip-top condition, and security marking using the BikeRegister scheme.
They will be at the Newbold Comyn football pavilion (CV32 7UA) from 8am until 10:30am, and then at the Leamington Repair Café, Sydni Centre, Cottage Square, CV32 1PT, from 11am until 2pm.
I know from personal experience how valuable BikeRegister security marking can be. A few years ago, my bicycle was stolen. I was convinced I would never see it again, but someone found it dumped in a hedge on Newbold Comyn, and was able to contact me via the BicycleRegister scheme. It works!
